Booking variations by the customer
Any change you would like to make to your chosen trip regarding the number of participants, the number or type of rooms, the hotel category, or the food catered in the program, will be accepted by Grangiro if advised no later than 7 days before the tour departure date and providing that the suppliers of the required services shall be able to implement them. The change requests will be followed-up with a reply within 48h with quotations of any possible supplementary charges.
Change or Cancellation of the trip by Grangiro
Before departure, in the unlikely event that GranGiro might need to significantly change one or more elements of the contract, we will immediately notify you Cyclists in writing, indicating the type of change and the consequent change, if any, in price. If you do not accept the proposed amendments referred to in Comma 1, you Cyclists can either exercise your right to a refund of any sums already paid or you decide to carry on with the offer of a replacement tour package as per indications under comma no.2 and no.3 of Article 10 . The Cyclists can exercise the aformentioned rights even when the cancellation depends on the failure to reach the required minimum number of participants in the program, or in cases of force majeure and unforeseeable circumstances relating to the purchased tour package.
Prices
The pricing of a package is determined in the contract, with reference to what is indicated on the catalog or off-catalogue program and to any change in the catalogs or off-catalogue programs added subsequently. Pricing can change up to 20 days prior to departure and only as a result of variations in:
– transportation costs, including the cost of fuel;
– Rights and taxes on certain types of tourist services such as taxes, fees or charges for landing, embarkation or disembarkation at ports and airports;
– The exchange rates applied to the package in question.
For these changes we will refer to the exchange rates and the above costs valid on the date of publication of the program, as shown in the data sheet of the catalog or alternatively on the date of any updates mentioned above. The variations will affect the fixed price of the package in percentages expressly indicated in the technical data shhet or off-catalogue program.
Trip cancellation by the customer
In the event of a cancellation before departure by any Customer, he/she will be required to pay the cost of the individual handling process, any amount of insurance cover requested at the time of contract finalization, both on inclusive and optional packages, and any other services already provided. Penalty fees for travel cancellation by a Customer are as follows:
● 45 days before departure: 50% penalty fee
● 30 days before departure: 75% penalty fee
● 15 days before departure:100% penalty fee
