  1. Day 1 Arrival in Alghero

Arrival and hotel accommodation near the hamlet of Fertilia, just a few minutes’ drive from the Airport and 7 kilometers from the town of Alghero.

  2. Day 2 The pine forest of Fertilia

After a hearty breakfast, we take our bikes and enter the nearby pine forest of Fertilia, where we will start our ride on lanes and easy dirt tracks, picking up confidence with our bikes and also enjoying the nature and views of the surrounding area. The tour today will stay below the 15 km mark, allowing us to return to the hotel for lunch. The afternoon will be free.

  3. Day 3 Into the heart of Alghero

Today we ride to the city of Alghero, through an easy and flat bike path that runs along the Calik lagoon, to then delve into the heart of the Catalan town, where we can visit, still on our bikes, the beautiful old town with its countless churches from various eras, the marina and the promenade that stretches to the southern edge of the city, offering gorgeous panoramic views. We will have lunch in town at one of the restaurants or chic cafes on the ancient bastion near the port; and then, maybe after a bit of shopping, with no rush whatsoever, we turn back on our tracks, but this time we will ride on a bike path that runs along the coast.

  4. Day 4 Just Relax

Day off, so you can bathe and just relax!

  5. Day 5 Punta Negra

This morning we will go through the pine forest in Punta Negra where we will have a chance to refine our bike riding techniques by exploiting the countless twisty paths that wind round the pines and dense mediterranean scrub; we will also be able to admire some of the most popular beaches in the area, including Le Bombarde and Il Lazzaretto, where you can take a refreshing break and maybe a dip in the crystal clear waters. Considering the fairly short distances, today, you can return to the hotel for lunch and take the afternoon off.

  6. Day 6 Porto Conte

We leave the hotel, after breakfast, to make a rather longer tour (35 km) that will take us to the gulf of Porto Conte, eventually reaching the majestic headland of Capo Caccia, from which we can admire some of the most beautiful views of the Sardinian coast, from the top of the granite cliffs. Today's route will be mostly flat, but there will be some climbs to be tackled with all due respect; however, the views and nature to be seen will surely pay off the effort. There are many options for a lunch stop along the way, perhaps at one of the beaches or in one of the small towns which we will encounter on the road.

  7. Day 7 Tour's ending

time to bid our farewells; the transfer will be organized on the basis of your departure schedules. We sincerely hope we left a mark in your heart, an unforgettable memory of our land, seen at its best: on the saddle of a bike....
