  1. Day 1 Arrival

Arrival and overnight at a hotel near Oliena, bike fitting and briefing with the guides.

  2. Day 2 Oliena-Orgosolo

Oliena-Orgosolo 46 km; D+ 1200 mt Duration: 7/8 hours The first leg of the tour features stony paths and trails with technical sections and some demanding climbs. We start from Oliena to head towards Monte Corrasi and after a few kilometers we leave the main track to delve into the thick vegetation in an alternation of single tracks and mule trails. Some technical and short "portage" stretches will put your technique and balance to test. We move forward into Supramonte di Oliena, a rough and wild looking karst plateau which we will cross in its entire length almost exclusively on single track.

  3. Day 3 Orgosolo-Villanova Strisaili

Orgosolo-Villanova Strisaili 51 km; D+ 1250 mt Duration: 5/6 hours Today we reach the forest trail that will take us on the slopes of an imposing tower like mount (Monte Fumai - 1200 meters). Still on the dirt track we face a long up and down that will take us into the charming Fennau valley. With a little luck we'll catch a sight of a few mouflons, wild sheep typical of inland Sardinia. We reach a local spring where we can quench our thirst and cool off in a picture perfect spot of nature.

  4. Day 4 Villanova Strisaili-Ulassai

Villanova Strisaili-Ulassai 46 km; D+ 1450 mt Duration 6/7 hours Today's leg is one of the most beautiful of our tour and also of the entire region! We’ll reach the majestic dolomite rock of Perda Liana (1200 meters) from where you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the surrounding landscape. Starting from herewe set off down a steep and winding single track for the delight of the wildest free-rider. On an easy dirt track, we then cross the beautiful forest of Montarbu (considered by many to be the most beautiful forest district of Sardinia). W than reach the legendary Sentiero delle Aquile (Trail of the Eagles). We will be rewarded with a long single track that winds along the edge of the limestone cliff!

  5. Day 5 Ulassai-Jerzu

Ulassai-Jerzu 38 km; D+ 1100 mt Duration: 4/5 hours We start with a steep and winding road that climbs up to 1000 meters, in the thick vegetation and towering peaks and limestone cliffs. We reach the top of the plateau to continue on the dirt track until we approach the nuragic village of Serbissi. It is worth making a small detour to visit this nuragic complex, which is unique in Sardinia and dates back to 1800 BC when it was built on the roof of a large limestone cave. Once we've reached the valley floor, after a long descent with mixed fast and technical stretches, we will take a break by one of the streams in the area. This is an unmissable opportunity to go for a refreshing dip in one of the clear water pools.

  6. Day 6 Jerzu-Tertenia

Jerzu-Tertenia 42 km; D+ 820 mt Duration: 4/5 hours Today the route involves a lot of downhill. We’ll ride "the ghost plateau"; the track passes through countless beautiful rock formations that give the idea of an endless series of abandoned and crumbling castles. We continue to follow these formations up to the eastern edge of the plateau, where we are almost cliff hanging over the valley of the Rio Quirra. From here we set off dropping down almost 700 meters above sea level in just about 4 km!

  7. Day 7 Tour's ending

...breakfast and see you, on our next adventure!
